Thats the good thing about adjustable dampers. Ofcourse it doesnt give you control over spring rates, but can still make a huge difference to the handling
But thats a quite normal thing to do on 4WD cars, it's the easiest way to cure that horrible understeer that they normally have
But what sim are you using Psycho? Could be interesting to try it out

I'll keep that in mind, should I go down the 4drive saloon/estate route. As I'm not a big fan of understeer. Though I like a tweaked car to ride like an unmolested model when cruising, when I hoon it, can feel the sure footedness. It takes a lot of playing. Which is why it costs manufactures a small fortune to find a nice setup and then try not to tamper with it through the cars life. The last car I played with took about 2 months of tweaking to get things how I like them.
I use a range of sims, but mostly I stick with LFS as it tends to be quicker to create a quicl setup. Not totally accurate, but gives you a nice overview of what the setup will lead to, so you can then fiddle with it a little on the actual car to try and create the best compromise.

Ahh ok LFS.. I thought it was something different than "just" a game. Well atleast it was LFS, so the physics are quite accurate
But I agree completely, tuning the suspension settings takes alot of work. I've been messing around with damper settings for a month now, and I still don't have it behaving like I want. Turn-in is getting where I want it, but I still need the back to step out a bit more. I think I'll set the anti roll bar to the stiffest settings (I've got Whiteline adjustable ARB's on the medium setting now).
All the race teams I've had a poke around use some form of game simulation. Most F1 sims are a doctored version of rFactor (with some code time you can get a vehicle to hand realistically, which is what the low budget teams have done).
Though a lot of what you need can be done using just numbers and somewhere I have a rather complex spreadsheet, where you enter stiffness values and it'll give you a number in terms of handling. I've still not fully worked out what the figures mean in real life, so I teamed that up with a sim so I can get a "feel" of what it'll do.
Adjustable toys are great. A lot easier than the old days where you'd have to buy a range of stuff to swap out when you want to change the setup.
Also, for an old bus, she is looking good.
[edit: Just something I remembered when using LFS as a setup guide, pretend the track is wet, as that is how the tyres handle. So you can make a great wet/loose surface setup in LFS, but means a lot of guess work is required to translate that into dry blacktop.]

Well, Monster, if you can find me a set of 1909's with 5x100 pcd, ET48 in 17x7J then please let me know
As you can read, one of mine is busted, and since it's magnesium, can't be repaired

I think you're overestimating the size of the car.
Plus, it's not meant to go slow and have ridicules negative camber

Ahaha true

Hehehe well last month was Old School Month, so I decided to send a picture of it to Mike Garret. And luckily it made the cut
But I agree, I do like the Speedlines better, but I only have 3 of them left
The last one is dead and can't be fixed.
But I really want to go lower (thinking about BC Racing Coilovers), but I'll see what I'm gonna do this winter. I have my Golf 2, if I decide to pit the Leggy again
But Aco, what do you have? Last time we talked, you were still only a 16 year, scooter punk xD

Let me guess, the curb came out as the winner in a battle against the rim?
Didn't know you had a Mk2 Golf! I must admit that I like that a lot!
Oh no more scooter punk for me, even though I still have my old Crescent 3-wheel from the 70's. Going to restore it and sell it and make a profit, hopefully.
Sorry for hi-jacking your build thread but please take a look in my new thread to find out what I acquired recently.
